Discover Living Stories at Our Early Service
At St. Gregory's 8:30 am Sunday service, we embrace a vibrant way of sharing and experiencing the Bible together called Living Stories. This approach draws inspiration from both the Montessori method and the Godly Play tradition, bringing Bible stories to life in a way that involves everyone—kids and adults alike. A Dynamic Way to Worship In Living Stories, the conventional sermon is transformed into a dynamic group exploration. Using figurines and felt boards, the storyteller narrates the scripture of the day and then invites everyone to dive deeper with wondering questions. This interactive format turns our service into a lively intergenerational dialogue, where every person—children and adults alike—is a crucial part of creating the sermon together. Engage, Reflect, and Connect In Living Stories, every voice matters. You and your children are encouraged to express your thoughts and connect with the scriptures and each other. This method doesn’t just teach; it allows you and your family to actively engage with the Bible and each other in meaningful ways. It’s about making church a place where we all contribute, learn, and grow together. Join Us and Share in Our Practice Living Stories started as a creative response to the need for connection during the pandemic, and it has blossomed into a cherished part of our early service.
