![]() Paul Fromberg, Rector, is a preacher, teacher, liturgist and artist. He has a degree in family and marriage counseling and has worked in Episcopal churches in Texas and California since 1987. Read his blog here. You can see a video of Paul talking about mission here.
![]() Peter Levenstrong, Associate Rector, began his time with us in July of 2020. He received his M.Div from Yale Divinity School in May of 2020. Peter brings his rich experience to youth and family ministries.
![]() Sanford Dole, Music Director, is a composer and singer, and the director of the Sanford Dole Ensemble. He was a founding member of the male vocal ensemble Chanticleer.

We are irregularly in the office during this period of COVID precautions, but meet weekly for our staff meeting on Tuesdays from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Vestry Members
![]() Anne Symonds, Inward-Looking Co-Convener The ILC acts as the Chief Operating Officer of the parish, reviewing business practices to make sure we are working in a clear and transparent way.
![]() Tim Yip, Outward-Looking Co-Convener The OLC acts as the liaison between the neighborhood and the rector, creating new relationships outside the church.
![]() Ben Cryer, Sacred Space Commissioner The SSC helps coordinate a number of volunteer efforts around our buildings and grounds, and consults with the rest of the vestry and our staff on repair, maintenance, and capital improvements. ![]() Linda Hall, Membership Commissioner works to help people at St. Gregory's to become active members of our community. This begins with ensuring newcomers have a good experience when they visit our church on a Sunday. The MC also ensures that visitors have sufficient information about sharing their life and work here. This includes both our membership packet and connecting with other people. |
![]() Bill Phillips, Strategic Presence Commissioner The SPC is responsible for communicating about St. Gregory’s using all forms of media, in order to accurately portray a vibrant and relevant Christian community.
![]() Andy Wells, Money and Meaning Commissioner The MMC provides oversight, advice and input to St. Gregory’s annual budget process, and monitors expenses and revenue throughout the year. The MMC coordinates fundraising and is the interface between the vestry and the finances of the church.
![]() Margaret Simpson, Life Long Learning Commissioner The primary role of the LLC is to pay attention to and support the efforts of all those contributing their passions and skills to learning and formation.
![]() Will Capps, Vestry Secretary The VS records vestry meetings, maintains parish records and certifies parish reports.
![]() Leesy Taggart, Vestry Treasurer The VT works closely with the vestry and the staff, and is responsible for the management of income and expenses. The VT prepares the annual parish report and provides reports to membership and to vestry.

Assisting Clergy
St. Gregory's is blessed with many volunteer assisting clergy who occasionally preach, teach and preside, and who contribute to the life of the community.
