Our scripts are a complete guide to every element of the liturgy, and to every role. (The liturgies at Saint Gregory’s involve a number of people, ordained and lay, who serve as deacons, cantors, readers and preachers, as well as an ordained priest who serves as presider.) We prepare detailed scripts for every service, but use them mainly as training tools and background references. Once participants internalize the logic of the liturgy, they can lead worship without reading from the scripts.
