Hula Mass, September 8, 2013. We celebrate the life of one of our Dancing Saints: Queen Lili’uokalani of Hawai’i. We call Lili’u a friend of God because of her commitment to peace in the face of aggression and her sacrificial protection of the lives of her people in the face of hostility from American military and business interests. She was a musician, composer and lover of God. Dancers from Na Lei Hulu I Ka Weiku helped to lead our worship. Thanks to With Patrick Makuakane and all the dancers!
