Special Courses
are stand-alone classes and activities. From making prayer banners to writing letters for social change, each course is open to anyone who wants to learn something new about what God is doing in the world. They generally meet after the 10:30 liturgy unless otherwise noted.
Bible Study - Ongoing
Will Hocker leads this Sunday morning class; ongoing at 9:45 in the Schell Library. Anyone is welcome to drop in.
Icon Painting – October 26 November 16, 30 December 7, 14 & January 4, 11
Betsy Porter convenes our icon group in the Rotunda at 1:30. You can either paint an icon or simply observe. Come see and learn.
The Prayer Banner – November 9
Sherri Lynn Wood talks about her work as a textile artist working with communities and will lead the group in creating a banner in memory of those lost to war.
Faith in Action – Third Sunday of the Month
Carolyn Feuille convenes this group to learn about issues of poverty, health and global development, and to write letters to elected officials advocating for the Millennium Development Goals.
