Membership at St. Gregory's
Membership is open to everyone, without exception. Members agree to worship together, support one another in service to the broader community, and help choose St. Gregory’s leaders. Members also pledge their time and money to the church: there’s no minimum amount, just willingness to commit to a regular contribution. If you’re interested in becoming a member, please contact the church office, or the vestry’s membership commissioner, or talk to any member. You can join anytime.
We encourage potential members to meet with current members, staff and clergy to talk about their interests and how they want to be involved. We also encourage you to read our Members’ Agreement, which was originally developed by the members in September, 1981 and revised in Spring, 1995, to give you background on how the congregation has seen the role of members.
More recently, our rector, Paul Fromberg, spoke about membership at St. Gregory's during our 2013 parish mini-retreat. You can find the text of his talk here.
If you would like to join St. Gregory's, you can download a membership form, complete it, and return it to us.
